Snap Balance

This game is a portfolio piece made as part of a university project.

The goal of this project is to create a data telemetry tool and use it to collect and analyse gameplay data in order to make design changes accordingly based on balance as well as player enjoyment.

Game Explanation

Controls: Press Space to attempt a snap! That's kind of it...

Each player has a deck of 10 cards containing 2 suits (Spades and Diamonds) numbered Ace through 5. These cards are automatically dealt until there's a snap (cards have matching numbers) where you will race the AI to snap the cards first to gain score equal to the number on your card. Be careful you don't snap when you're not meant to otherwise you'll lose this score instead. 

You gain some gold for each successful snap which can then be spent in the shop to add cards to your deck. Each round ends when both players have used up their decks. Reach round 10 to 'win'. (game will not automatically end - keep going as long as you can if you want)
